OUR PEOPLE AND OUR CULTURE MATTER

PERSPECTIVE

“a particular way of viewing things that depends on one’s experience and personality”

We always allocate time to understanding our clients views on the operations. The reasons they feel are relevant to the current site situations are important for us to understand. Coming from the outside can be advantageous because we are not biased or dedicated to a certain system or process but also dis-advantageous to understanding how we got to the current situation. This is key to understanding the best way to implement change. If we can’t understand the project from our clients prospective then its difficult make sense of the nuances for the particular site.

OWNERSHIP

“taking responsibility for ones actions and owning the outcomes thereof, for better or worse”

We always take full responsibility for the decision making and implementation process and outcomes of our project structures. Any optimization possibilities identified during the evaluation phase which are then turned into KPI’s for the project going forward are closely monitored and scrutinized for progress, we are open with our targets and fully accountable for the outcomes. We support our team to take on the highest return and most rewarding challenges of the projects.

RESPECT

“due regard for the position, challenges, or situation of others”

We show full and complete respect to our own people and our clients people. This goes for anyone in any position from a bit-sharpener to a General Manager, we only care about how well that person is performing relative to their job function. We also are aware of respect in regards to the sites situation at the time and challenges it has faced, of which we have no idea about - at least in the beginning. There is so much that has happened that we are not aware of that it is nonsensical to form opinion on anything but what we can clearly see and understand in the present.

HUMILITY

“the feeling or attitude that you have no special importance that makes you better than others”

We do not pretend in any way that we are special in relation to a drilling program. We have high level support, materials and resources that can achieve great outcomes for our clients and we can be hyper-focused on drilling efficiency because we are not responsible for a broader and more complex operation. Coming from outside an operation can make it possible to identify deficiencies that are not seen or not fixable from within and we always keep in mind the struggles the operations are contenting with that may have caused any situations that need rectifying.
